Here are our updates for this week:

  • Online Member Meetings – we have two upcoming member meetings next week.  Please do come along to hear updates or talk to us about an issue at work.

We will be discussing the 1.5% pay offer, so please come along if you have any questions.  We’d also like to hear any questions or concerns you may have. If you’d prefer, you can submit questions for either meeting in advance by emailing unison@leeds.ac.uk

  • Living Wage Employer – Did you know, the University is not a Living Wage employer?  To be a Living Wage employer, the institution must pay all directly employed staff at least £9.50 per hour.  We have a number of colleagues on campus who are being paid less than this.  UNISON are continuing to push for the University of Leeds to be a Living Wage employer, as we believe this benefits both staff and the institution
  • Returning to Campus – if you’re being asked to return to campus, did you know you can request to complete the Return to Campus Questionnaire?  This will allow you to list any health conditions for either yourself or a family member, any caring responsibilities or any concerns you have about getting to and from work, which you think may affect you returning to campus.  To request a questionnaire, you can contact your manager or HR contact.  If you need any advice about the questionnaire, please get in touch with us at unison@leeds.ac.uk
