Joint Unions Open Members’ Meeting

October 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Unite, UNISON and UCU, the three recognised unions at the University of Leeds, are all in the process of balloting members about taking industrial action over the current pay claim. The current offer (below inflation offer of 2%) does nothing to address gender inequality or precarious employment in the sector.
All three unions are working together to encourage people to vote in their respective ballots. Members of all three unions have arranged a meeting to discuss the issues involved in more depth, to hear your feedback and questions and to encourage colleagues to vote. Each of the unions needs a 50% turnout to make the vote valid for industrial action under the new (anti) trade union law. Please attend the meeting if you can.
