The pay strike ballot is still ongoing, with a closing date of Friday, 28 January, 2022.

If you have not yet received your ballot papers or you have misplaced them, from today you can request new ballot papers by calling, for free, the UNISON ballot hotline: 0800 0857 857.

If you don’t receive your papers after requesting new ones, please let us know.

If you have already voted and have not let us know by contacting a rep or by emailing us, you can email us at unison@leeds.ac.uk. All emails get picked up but due to the volume of emails, we can’t respond individually to each of you who let us know you’ve voted. Once we know you’ve voted, we can mark you off on our systems and you should not receive any further individual contact about voting.

In the last week, it has been said that this year, inflation is likely to reach 6%, that the energy price cap will increase substantially leaving many in energy poverty and we have the 1.25% NI increase in April. The 1.5% pay increase we have been given is not good enough. You deserve a decent and fair pay rise after the last two years of hard work. Voting in this ballot is your chance to have your say.

Please post your vote or call to request new ballot papers today.
